Phobias
Phobias and fears are the result of internal anxieties that become associated with particular situations or things. Some fears have an element of purpose to them, for example fear of heights or fire. Most fears, however, seem completely irrational. This is actually not the case as all phobias have a cause and have, or did have, a purpose. Without a purpose they would not exist.
A phobia usually stems from a long since forgotten incident, often in your youth, that provoked overwhelmingly powerful emotions. At the time you were unable to cope with the intensity of the emotions and, to protect you, the subconscious mind hid them away out of conscious reach. However when you experience a similar situation at a later date the original emotions come to the fore.

Hypnotherapy can help and the following phobias are some of the many that respond particularly well to analytical hypnotherapy:
Aerophobia – fear of flying
Acrophobia – fear of heights
Agoraphobia – fear of open spaces
Arachnophobia – fear of spiders
Claustrophobia – fear of enclosed spaces
Emetophobia - fear of being sick
Entomophobia – fear of insects
Glossophobia – fear of speaking in public (social phobia)
Hydrophobia – fear of water
Ophidiophobia – fear of snakes
Pyrophobia – fear of fire
Spheksophobia – fear of wasps
Xenophobia – fear of strangers
A phobia can relate to anything from buttons to boiled eggs but no matter what the subject the principle cause usually remains the same and Hypnotherapy can help. There is even a phobia of phobias – that’s right, phobophobia!
Hypnotherapy enables you to find the hidden emotions that originally caused the phobia. Once these are released the phobia disappears. |
